  1. That looks like a twister tail thinking about coming down!
    Do you “wrap” your painting around the sides of your canvas or leave a white border?
    I see some You-tube gurus put masking tape around the canvas’s edges — and I tried it — but then I learned some people want to hang their art without a frame. Sigh. So I pulled off the tape — and had an undesirable ridge of dried paint along the edge of the tape. For the past couple of days I’ve been painting the edges & sides, trying to match colors and “wrap: the scene around the sides.

    • I seldom paint on canvas. This is on a panel. I like Ampersand Gesaobord better than canvas. I think painting the edges depends how the canvas was stretched and sized more than anything else.
