Beautiful, beautiful poem.
NaPoWriMo Day 6 – Go to a book you love. Find a short line that strikes you. Make that line the title of your poem. Write a poem inspired by the line. Then, after you’ve finished, change the title completely.
I chose the line "places remember what people forget" from the book Overstory by Richard Powers between the cracks the place between the cracks remembers what people forget, fields of green that came before we poured the concrete made our home and much to our surprise seedlings find their way to claim a space yet we feign surprise at life that dares to live, to remind us of what we have forgot and more than naught we declare a weed and rip that life asunder ©Heather Carr-Rowe
