  1. Thinking of you ๐Ÿ’› your drawings ….wow. Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid~superb. I have a thing for old barns (Iโ€™ve lived in 2 century old homes and one had a beautiful old barn). Theyโ€™re all so beautiful and if they could all talk. And that cowboy watching the drilling~theyโ€™re all lovely. I hope you do well with the shot.

    • Teddy went with me so I didn’t have to go alone. My neighbors were right in front of me all the way there so that was cool. I was further from home today than I’ve been in a year. So we’ll see how I react. โค

      • Teddy is such a trooper and a great partner to take with you. Aww. ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’š I went into Branson today to go buy more yard items and couldnโ€™t believe the traffic~Spring break and it felt like 2019. Oddly, I felt like a fish out of water. Iโ€™ll pray no reaction! Iโ€™m sore as heck now but Iโ€™ve raked my yard (rocks) all afternoon. ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’›

  2. Good for you, finishing your second shot already. Your immune system should be primed in a couple of weeks. I suppose that when my second shot is done (another four days for my first!) I will feel safer, but will continue to do more or less the same thing that I’ve been doing for the last year. There’s a second wave raging around me, but at least this time we are not startled by shadows. No excessive washing of groceries or clothes, no compulsive cleaning, just good masking and distancing. That might continue even with my shots, I suppose. Managing stress is perhaps the most important part of dealing with a crisis, and that’s something the shots will definitely do.

  3. Congrats on your first vaccination! Sparky and I go for our 2nd one on Thursday and I’m really hoping I don’t have a really rough time! Nice that Teddy was willing to be your moral support. The drawings are really coming along – love all the horses!

    • I got my first on Feb 20. This is my second. ๐Ÿ™‚ One of the nurses told me that a reaction is a sign that my immune system is working well, still it’s not something anyone wants. I’ll take what comes, I guess.

I’m getting more comfortable drawing horses. They intimidated me — still do, but less.
