but nearly done. It will be very nice to get back to my normal life of reading what you all have to say. I miss it. I’m also looking forward to sharing titles. 🙂

You have to read the entire book(s)? Or do you read a few chapters and then review? This sounds like some kind of work!
Many books disqualify themselves from winning and I don’t have to read them from cover to cover. I have a judging rubric that simplifies everything. If a book is going to be good, I usually read the whole thing. I have one now that’s incredibly good and funny. Its title is “French like Moi.” It’s by a guy who moves to Paris. Another really good one is about a parrot it’s “Ruminations on a Parrot Named Cosmo.” It’s by a woman — professor — in Georgia who has an African Grey Parrot and her experiences getting to know the bird and learning how incredibly intelligent it is. I loved that book. 🙂
Thanks, Martha. I had no idea what was involved. I’m smiling thinking of you reading the parrot book.
I can’t wait for the full review!
I finally got around to mailing a book to you today. 🙂
