It’s a cool frood who knows where their towel is.

‘Frood’ comes from “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” by Douglas Adams. If you were a ‘cool frood,’ you knew where your towel was. Made it into my vernacular.
I know. Remember when Ford Prefect told Arthur how to get nutrition by sucking on the corners of his towel? I made SEP into my vernacular. Always good to remember.

I liked that there were four books in the trilogy. I used to read those books at the end of every (exhausted) semester. 🙂

Saw the towel and immediately thought of the Hitchhiker’s Guide… I guess that was your intention. Sadly I doubt that many of the younger generations have any idea that that book exists…
The towel is from South Park — it was funny this morning that those two very funny works kind of converged in my mind this morning. Towelie is a pot-head who’s famous line is, “I have no idea what’s going on.” I am not sure if the two guys who made up the cartoon series had HHG in mind, but it wouldn’t surprise me. 🙂
