“Ha ha ha ha!”
“What’s so funny, Lamont?”
“Like size = power. Ha ha ha!”
“What are you reading that’s so fucking funny?”
“Just got this in my email. Check it out. ‘…A Velociraptor that was more turkey than terror…'”
“Guess they were never chased by a turkey.”
“Don’t you love the way humans figure everything out all the time and then they’re wrong and then they figure everything out again and then they’re wrong and then…”
“It’s maddening. And then they hear things in plain sight…”
“What?”
“You know, someone says something plain as day and they don’t see it.”
“Ah like ‘I don’t pay taxes. I’m smart’?”
“Yeah.”
“Nothing like the perfectly obvious to surprise a human.”

Lamont and Dude are characters I came up with a few years ago. They have the uncanny ability to remember many of their previous incarnations which gives them a unique perspective on life, the universe and everything.

HA! Great photo. L & D have it down right. Those humans keep getting it wrong and probably always will.
According to Dude, it’s to their credit that humans keep trying. Lamont argues that humans need to be quiet until they really KNOW something. Dude says that would really cut down on noise pollution…
Each make good points. Noise pollution for one.
I would not want to be attacked by a pack of carnivorous turkeys. Geese are bad enough.
Exactly. 🙂
I suppose tenacity and perseverance are admirable human characteristics but the process can be comical from the perspective of Dud and Lamont… The oyxmoronic (heavy on the moronic) comment is making me chuckle.
They think (based on their numerous lives) humans should be a little more hesitant about making absolute conclusions on little evidence. 🙂
