Flooding Rio Grande

I had to go to the store and on the way I decided to go see the river at the place where I often walk with my dogs. The featured photo is the parking lot. I think the water crested yesterday or the day before because it was streaming back toward the river from the parking lot this morning.

  1. Interesting. I’m doing an overnight and hot sulfur Springs my second outing in the van. I’m right on the banks of the Colorado and it’s starting to rise but I think it’s nowhere near its peak. There was still a fair amount of snow at higher elevations (above 10,000 feet or so). A hearty soul could ski on Berthoud pass.
