Automatic Off Switch

“What’s that?”

“An automatic whoozitwhassit.”

“You don’t know what it is.”

“No idea.”

“Hmmm. What’s it for?”

“No idea. Came with cereal.”

“Ah, then it probably needs a rubber band to work. You have no idea what to write for this prompt, do you?”

“You just kind of do it automatically, right?”

“Not exactly, but yeah, to some extent. Sometimes I take a break.”

“Maybe this should be one of those times?”

“You know my webpage for my novels?

“You’re talking to yourself now?”

“That wasn’t the plan but…”

“Yeah, I know.”

“They want $99 to keep it going another year. It’s on everything — my bidness cards, brochures, bookmarks, the whole enchilada. Maybe 300 people have looked at it, but I think WordPress counts me as a visit.”

“Do you have $99?”

“Not really. I’m pretty much living 5 inches above the poverty line which is fine by me, but it means I don’t have $99.”

“What are you going to do?”

“No idea.”

“Well, at least you didn’t set it up to renew automatically.”

    • I can’t afford it. I’ve asked about switching to the cheaper plan. We’ll see. Otherwise, I’ll kill it and redo it as a free blog. On a lighter note, I’ve recently learned that my income is low enough that I might qualify for financial assistance in repairing my garage this summer! Yay! Poverty! 🙂

  1. And you now have a new follower, I sleep most of the time it seems and did not know that you had a .com for your novels. I also have a 99$ a year one, actually two, because I have Tabby as well.

  2. I am running out of space for photos so putting off the $99 as long as I can. Recycling photos and deleting is my route for now….Let me know where you go so I can follow!

    • It’s my blog for my novels. I think I’ve figured out how to switch to a cheaper plan and I did it. We’ll see. The expensive one is set to expire in 1 week. — maybe, in the meantime, you could visit and tell me what you find there? 🙂

      • Don’t worry. This blog isn’t going anywhere and that one has been figured out. 🙂 I’m glad you enjoy our adventures. That means a lot to me — they’re small adventure, but they’re ours and Dusty, Mindy, Bear and I enjoy sharing them. ❤
