Since I left the co-op — which was a place for me to store paintings — I’ve been stuck with a bunch of artwork and boxes in my living space. I don’t have a BIG house. It’s probably 900 square feet, maybe a bit more. And, as much as I might enjoy painting landscapes, I’m not crazy about looking at them, so I used this hot day to pack them back up and take them to the garage.

Yesterday I resurrected my Etsy shop. I have mixed feelings about Etsy, but it’s a place where there is a slim possibility that a painting might make it out of the garage into someone’s house, and, of course, I have way more packets of note cards than any person needs.

This morning someone bought a painting. I can’t count it as a “real” sale because the person who bought it is the person who SHOULD have bought it as it is a painting of her granddaughter but still it’s money against paying for the Europe trip. I’m very happy to be shipping it out tomorrow and happy to pay an extra $100 on my credit card.

SO…if you are interested in note cards or paintings, check out my Etsy shop:

There are three kinds of notecards. One is an assortment of three paintings of the San Luis Valley, 3 x 5, six blank cards to a packet for $12.00:

The other two are these, 3 x 5, packaged five blank cards to a packet for $10:
