“Whine Like a Beagle”

1

This is in honor of my brother (William Kirk Kennedy)  who started this parody long ago but (to my knowledge) never finished it. In any case, we both hated this song. Kirk’s words are in blue. My contribution is in black.

Slime keeps on drippin’, drippin’, drippin’
Into the sewer
Slime keeps on drippin’, drippin’, drippin’
Into the sewer

Now I whine like a  beagle
Scratchin’ my fleas
Whine like a  beagle
Next to this tree
Whine like a  beagle
Till I’m free
Ah–OOOOOOO, Ah–OOOOOOO

Hoping for dog food
Maybe a bone of beef
But I chewed up her slipper
She’s got one shoe on her feet
Now I’m chained in this backyard
Still better’n the street
Ah–OOOOOO, Ah–OOOOOO

Now I whine like a  beagle
Scratchin’ my fleas
Whine like a  beagle
Next to this tree
Whine like a  beagle
Till I’m free

Ah–OOOOOOO, Ah–OOOOOOO

Slime keeps on drippin’, drippin’, drippin’
Into the sewer
Slime keeps on drippin’, drippin’, drippin’
Into the sewer
Slime keeps on drippin’, drippin’, drippin’

Into the sewer
Slime keeps on drippin’, drippin’, drippin’
Into the sewer
